The Author

Holly Smith is a London-based country music journalist, podcast host and DJ. She has travelled extensively across the US immersing herself in its musical landscape, in particular Nashville's country music scene, and has interviewed stars including Lainey Wilson, Thomas Rhett, Margo Price, Joshua Ray Walker, Lukas Nelson and Brandy Clark. She is the co-host of the Strokes of Country podcast, and has written for outlets including The Times, Evening Standard, The Mail on Sunday, Holler and Whynow. She has also made appearances on Sky, Channel 5, and BBC Radio 5 Live.
